PGA Teacher of the Year of California Desert Section
John Shelden, PGA TEACHER OF THE YEAR for the California Desert Section of the PGA talks with Steve about common swing issues many players deal with. John comments on mistakes golfers overlook in their swing development. Shelden is currently Dir of Instruction, Mountain View CC, LaQuinta, CA and a 'fixture' on the golf scene in the Desert. He was head professional at PGA WEST's Palmer & Nicklaus Private Club and host professional for 3 of the Bob Hope Classics. Over 10 years at Tamerisk CC, Rancho Mirage, CA and one of the Coachilla Valley's oldest clubs. John is perhaps one of the best communicators of the golf swing I've met in my 30+ years in the business, and one of the most sincere. 'For the love of the game' really IS John's motto. This is a Podcast every golfer will enjoy!
